MTTS Guest FTP Instructions
Using File Transfer Protocol (FTP) at MTTS.net is a fast way to exchange files that may be too large for email attachments. Please zip everything to save space and transfer time. If you have several files to transfer, put them in a folder, zip the folder, and upload it.
Downloading files
To download files, go here: http://mtts.net/guest and save the file you need.
Uploading files
You should use a FTP client to upload files. If you already have one use the settings below. If you don't have one you can get the client FileZilla.
FileZilla Instructions
- Filezilla is a free program: you can download it HERE. Install FileZilla.
- Open FileZilla (in your All Programs list) and go to File > Site Manager. Enter the settings below:
FileZilla Settings - "Transfers" page (on File menu)
Be sure to disable Timeout (set to 0 seconds); Set Maximum simultaneous transfers to 10 for fastest times.
Site Manager setup for New Site
FTP Server Host: ftp.mtts.net
FTO Server Tyoe: FTP
FTP Username: guest@mtts.net
Logon type: Normal
FTP Password: (contact Ron@mtts.net)
FTP Server Port: 21
To Use
When ready, drag your files to the file box below Remote Site on the right side of interface.
